The Consultation phase is an important fact-finding, dialogue-based process during which we'll confirm specific project goals and objectives, system requirement guidelines as well as explore the business model supporting the project.
It is only after fully understanding all these pieces that we can begin to define what the program needs to be in scope, content and functionality. We can also begin to more accurately estimate time and cost projections. During this phase, Krueger Digital begins developing prototypes on layouts. All elements and features are strategically placed as we work towards a visually appealing and technologically sound “look and feel”.
The main objective of the blueprint phase is to produce a plan for going forward with the actual development of the project. This is done primarily through the use of functionality requirements analysis and paper and/ or digital-prototyping. This involves overall site architecture, schematics, usability testing, content development, design concepts, and database modeling.
The Approval phase is the “OK!” from the client to move forward with the blueprint. The client has approved or suggested edits/changes to the prototype. Krueger Digital can then proceed to the Construction phase as the client is completely satisfied with the overall “look & feel” of the site. All features, site layouts, colors, customization, usability issues have typically been addressed and made during this stage of the process.
During the construction phase, the client's solution is constructed and extensively tested by Krueger Digital’s professionals. The technologies are constructed using professional grade tools and programming to meet industry standards. Graphics are produced and implemented. It’s an exciting phase, as Krueger Digital sees mental concepts and prototypes coming together into a collective solution on screen.
The Testing phase is an especially rewarding phase for the client as they typically will see their project near completion live on a test site. The client has the opportunity to move through the site from an end-user’s perspective testing usability and functionality. At the conclusion of this phase, the client provides Krueger Digital with any last edits or changes prior to delivery.
During the final Delivery phase, we implement the fully tested solution, and then transition the ongoing operation, maintenance and support of the solution to the client. This typically entails educating system users and implementing a support structure for the client.
